6 Days Spiti Valley Tour
Day 1: Amritsar to Narkanda (Approx. 360 km / 10-11 hrs)
Start early morning from Amritsar.
Drive through scenic towns like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Shimla.
Reach Narkanda, a peaceful hill town surrounded by dense forests and apple orchards.
Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Narkanda.
Day 2: Narkanda to Kalpa (Approx. 165 km / 6-7 hrs)
Depart after breakfast toward Kalpa, a beautiful village in Kinnaur district.
Drive along the Satluj River and witness the changing landscapes.
En route, visit Sarahan Bhimakali Temple (optional stop).
Reach Kalpa and enjoy views of Kinner Kailash peaks.
Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 3: Kalpa to Kaza via Nako & Tabo (Approx. 210 km / 9-10 hrs)
Leave early for Kaza, the main town in Spiti Valley.
Visit the Nako Lake, and the serene Tabo Monastery – known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.”
Pass through Gue Village (home to a 500-year-old mummy).
Arrive in Kaza by evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kaza.
Day 4: Kaza Local Sightseeing (Key, Kibber & Hikkim Line)
After breakfast, explore the wonders of Spiti Valley:
Key Monastery – the largest monastery in Spiti.
Kibber Village – one of the highest inhabited villages in Asia.
Hikkim – post a letter from the world’s highest post office.
Langza – known for its Buddha statue and fossil valley.
Return to Kaza in the evening. Overnight stay in Kaza.Day 5: Kaza to Rampur via Dhankar & Pin Valley (Approx. 260 km / 10-11 hrs)
Begin your return journey toward Rampur.
En route visit:
Dhankar Monastery – perched dramatically on a cliff.
Optional detour to Pin Valley National Park (home to rare wildlife).
Overnight stay in Rampur.
Day 6: Rampur to Amritsar (Approx. 400 km / 10-11 hrs)
Start early from Rampur and drive back to Amritsar.
Arrive by late evening.
Tour ends with beautiful memories of the majestic Spiti Valley.
